Arka Technologies launches New Thermal Management Range

Arka Technologies, specialists in the design and production of EMI (electromagnetic interference) shielding and thermal management products, today announces the launch of its new thermal management range.

Arka Technologies’ new range of thermal management products comprise:

  • ArkaFlex 1000 – cost effective compressible gap filler that provides excellent thermal performance.
  • ArkaFlex 1200 - a soft, extremely compressible gap filling interface pad that produces exceptionally low thermal resistances.
  • ArkaKap 104 - a highly thermal, dielectric performance insulator pad. Made up of a ceramic filled phase change compound, the Arkakap 104 is finished off with a MT Kapton film.
  • ArkaDo 1004 - specifically designed for low thermal resistance during high thermal conductivity.
  • The wax-based self-supporting film, Arka PC104, is made up of a phase change material that creates a thin, low thermal resistant interface.
  • ArkaPly 1000 - an extraordinary gap filler, as it limits damage to components by eliminating stress and absorbing shock. Consisting of boron nitride and silicon, it is also electrically insulating.
  • Arka177- low cost thermally conductive insulators, high breakdown voltage.
  • Arka200 – higher conductivity low cost insulators
  • Arka220 – higher conductivity low cost insulators

Craig Rochford, Technical Director of Arka Technologies, commented: “The company is developing and growing as we continue to expand our product range. Currently, we offer clients a variety of components from board level shielding and gaskets to bespoke conductive elastomers. The launch of our new thermal management range has enabled us to meet the increasing demand from our customers to be a “one-stop shop” for all their electronic, communication shielding and thermal needs.”

All products supplied by Arka Technologies are in full compliance with the European Union Directive 2002/96/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). The company also ensures that all the materials and products that come through the supply chain are in full compliance with the new European Directive 2002/95/EC “Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHs).”

Craig continues: “We specialise in working with small and medium size enterprises and support them fully through out their design cycle. For us there are no limits on order size, whether a client wants ten items or a thousand, we deliver. This flexibility enables us to truly work with our clients and respond to all of their needs. We offer full expert and technical support from chartered engineers and ensure that the best materials are chosen early on in the design stage, saving our clients time and money.”
